Human Kinetics creates and distributes resources that help their customers practice their professions better and live healthier, more enjoyable lives. They do this through the supply of educational products to scholars, professionals and the general public with an interest in the fields of physical activity, health, sport and nutrition.

The challenge

‘We knew we had to change our internal processes to become better at what we do’ said Wendy Simpson, Human Kinetics’ Australia Systems Manager, ‘but our existing software was too inflexible. When we realised that we were pandering to it, rather than the other way around, it was time to look at our options’.

Human Kinetics Australia is essentially a warehousing and distribution centre for books, software and online courses, but at the same time they are much more than that. The global company Human Kinetics offers online education and they collaborate with authors from around the world and publish over twenty professional journals’.
